About Brian Jay

Brian Jay is an artist, photographer, and author living in Anchorage, Alaska.
Brian's photographic images span from Alaska to Canada, to most western states, to Texas, and into the south, along with many images from Florida. Most are high resolution and look great in print at any size.
Besides photography, Brian paints in acrylics and does detailed pencil work. But that's not all. For over twenty years, he experimented with 3D digital graphics and has produced many works he calls "Sci-Fri".
Born in Ohio, Brian is an experienced animator. For twenty years, he worked with special needs children designing animated educational and early communication software, plus helped invent devices which provided kids easy access to computers.
Brian has a bounty of experiences, from living with the monks in New Mexico to mission work on a small island in the Amazon jungle. He's worked in Hollywood, spent time in an art colony in the Mojave desert, and lived in a log cabin in Alaska. Few people have lived in ten states, worked fifty jobs, and moved forty-five times. The grass simply doesn't have time to grow under this man's feet, because Brian is the type who naturally gravitates toward new vistas and new challenges.
Brian's love for people and nature comes through in his writing, painting, and photography. His new Children's book, "Clouds at Play", combines all three talents. If you have kids, check it out on Amazon.
